Commending Marsha A Hacker, Program Assistant, with the City Engineering Division, upon her retirement after 40 years of dedicated service to the City of Madison.

Body

WHEREAS, on February 18, 1980, Marsha began work for the City Engineering Division as a Bruning Machine (Blue Print Machine) Operator; and,

                     

WHEREAS, during her career Marsha worked in many positions with City Engineering, including Clerk Typist II, Administrative Clerk I, and Program Assistant; and,

 

WHEREAS, for the past 40 plus years, Marsha has dutifully served the Engineering Division and the City of Madison; and,

 

WHEREAS, over those years, Marsha was a diligent, hard working, and conscientious member of the Engineering Team who deeply cared about her work; and,

 

WHEREAS, Marsha shall retire from the City of Madison Engineering Division on March 6, 2020; and,

 

WHEREAS, Marsha’s ability to successfully work through challenging situations with her peers and the public served the City and the Public well, and shall be missed,

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT  RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Common Council and City Engineer commend Marsha Hacker, Program Assistant, on her retirement from the City of Madison after 40 years of exemplary City service; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Common Council and City Engineer thank Marsha Hacker for her dedicated service to the City of Madison, its citizens and partners, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors; and,

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mayor, Common Council, City Engineer and the entire Engineering Division wish Marsha a healthy and enjoyable retirement with her husband and daughters, friends, AND her many and expanding family of pets.
