Amending Sections 28.151, 28.061, 28.068(5)(a)15., 28.082(1) and 28.091(1) of the Madison General Ordinances to allow the keeping of chickens as an accessory use at day care centers.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This amendment adds day care centers to the places listed in the supplemental regulations where chickens may be kept. It also amends the zoning code to allow the keeping of chickens as an accessory use in the mixed-use and commercial districts, employment districts, and special districts. These changes will allow day care centers located in these districts to keep chickens as an accessory use.
