WHEREAS, Alderperson Julia Kerr was elected to the Madison Common Council on April 3, 2007; and,
 
WHEREAS, Alderperson Kerr served on the CDA Housing Operations Subcommittee, CDA Long Range Planning Subcommittee, Housing Committee, Public Safety Review Committee, Regent Street-South Campus Plan Steering Committee, Bayview Foundation Board, Community Development Authority, Joint Southeast Campus Area Committee, Joint West Campus Area Committee, Madison Housing Authority, Plan Commission, South Madison Health & Family Center-Harambee and the Zoning Code Rewrite Advisory Committee; and,
 
WHEREAS, Alderperson Julia Kerr met the challenges of fulfilling her aldermanic duties head on with hard work, dignity, sensibility and good humor; and,
 
WHEREAS, Alderperson Kerr through hard work and commitment to her aldermanic duties has faithfully and with honor served her constituents and the City of Madison,
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council commend and thank Alderperson Julia Kerr for her dedicated service to her constituents in District 13 and the City of Madison.
