Adopting Proposed Senior Center Courtyard Site Plan

The Board of Park Commissioners is considering the request to approve the transfer of the Administrative Ownership of the Madison Senior Center courtyard to the Parks Division at its March 8, 2023 Meeting (Leg File #76479). Once approved the Senior Center Courtyard will formally become part of the park inventory system. To function as a high quality community park space, the courtyard requires renovation. Staff have led an intensive planning process and community engagement process, starting in 2020 to determine final design improvements to the courtyard. Staff will provide a project overview and discuss the final site plan, which is currently out-to-bid. The Board of Park Commissioners will consider adopting the proposed Senior Center Courtyard Site Plan.
