Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution recreates a vacant Paratransit Program Manager position to an Operations Manager position in the Metro Transit operating budget. This change is not anticipated to create additional costs in 2022, as the position will be vacant for at least the first quarter of 2022. The annualized cost increase of this change in future years is $9,000 at the entry level and $12,000 at the max step/longevity level of the position.

This resolution seeks to delete position #2753 of Paratransit Program Manager (CG44, R12), and recreate the position as an Operations Manager (CG44, R14) in the Metro operating budget, thereof.
WHEREAS, Metro Transit has a number of large projects that are being implemented over the next few years; and,
WHEREAS, Metro has struggled to fill certain vacant positions with highly skilled and qualified candidates due to the employment market; and,
WHEREAS, Metro has been utilizing consultants to supplement staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that vacant Paratransit Program Manager position #2753 (CG44, R12) be recreated as an Operations Manager position (CG44, RG14), in the Metro operating budget.
