Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract Grandview Commons Phase 20, Private Contract No. 2381. (3rd AD)
Body
WHEREAS, the MREC VH Madison, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in: Grandview Commons Phase 20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
1. That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted.
2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
SANITARY SEWER ACCOUNTING DATA
A) Total Contract Value (including Engineering
and Miscellaneous Costs) $ 91,013.82
B) Contributions in Aid of Construction:
a) Public Sewer Components $ 91,013.82
b) Sewer Laterals $ -0-
C) Investments in Capital (MSU Share) $ -0-
D) Total Plant Value $ 91,013.82
3. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A” $240,593.16.
4. That the street improvements, excluding the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:
• Aries Way from the west line of Lot 890 to North Star Drive
• Aries Way from North Star Drive to Pluto Street
• Aries Way from Pluto Street to Galileo Drive
• Galileo Drive from the north line of Lot 679 to Aries Way
• Galileo Drive from Aries Way to the south line of Lot 712
• North Star Drive from the north line of Lot 890 to Aries Way
• North Star Drive from Aries Way to the south line of Lot 746
• Pluto Street from Aries Way to the south line of Lot 730
• Pluto Street Alley from Aries Way to the south line of Lot 746
• Pluto Street Alley from Aries Way to the south line of Lot 712
The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 10197 $ 193,040.24 for a useful life of 40 years.
