Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes Center for Community Stewardship as the new fiscal agent for Truax Resident Advisory Committee for their 2020-2021 Neighborhood Grant project. Funding of $3,946 for this project was previously approved by adopted RES-20-00460 (File ID 60451) on June 16, 2020. No additional City appropriation is required.

WHEREAS the Common Council approved the 2020-2021 Neighborhood Grant Program awards on June 16, 2020 (Resolution No. 60451, RES-20-00460), and in that resolution authorized a grant to Madison Northside Planning Council Inc. on behalf of Truax Resident Advisory Committee for Truax Welcome Wagon project; and
WHEREAS, since that time, Truax Resident Advisory Committee has indicated the desire to change their fiscal agent and would like to utilize Center for Community Stewardship as the fiscal agent for their $3,946.00 grant award with Truax Resident Advisory Committee completing project work in adherence to the Conditions/Comments of the adopted recommendations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby approves Center for Community Stewardship as the new fiscal agent for Truax Resident Advisory Committee’s project as follows: "Center for Community Stewardship on behalf of Truax Resident Advisory Committee” and authorizes the Planning Division Director to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Madison to effectuate said grant upon countersignature of the Finance Director and approval of the City Attorney and changing the current PO with Madison Northside Planning Council Inc to Center for Community Stewardship.
