Title
Extending the deadline for the report and recommendations from the President's Work Group to Review Council Communication Tools & Processes to September 30, 2020.
Body
WHEREAS, Resolution RES-19-00527, Legistar File 56505, created the President's Work Group to Review Council Communication Tools & Processes; and,
WHEREAS, the Work Group was given a deadline of November 5, 2019 to complete its work and issue its report and recommendations to the Common Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Work Group was given a new deadline of March 31, 2020 to complete its work and issue its report and recommendations to the Common Council (Extension adopted October 15, 2019, Resolution RES-19-00730, Legistar File 57510); and
WHEREAS, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the scope of its obligations now makes it clear that the report and recommendations will not be completed by the March 20, 2020 deadline,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Common Council extends the deadline for finishing the work of the President's Work Group to Review Council Communication Tools & Processes to be no later than September 30, 2020.
