No rent is payable for sign usage during the term of the contract. Metro Transit is responsible for maintenance of sign during term of the agreement.

Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into a Monumental Signage Use (Lease) Agreement with Washington Gilman, LP and Mullins Family, LLP beginning in November 2019 and continuing month-to-month unless either party cancels the agreement with at least 30 days notice.
Body
WHEREAS, Metro Transit would like to use the free-standing monument sign northeast of the main entrance of the building location at 1245 East Washington Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Washington Gilman, LP and Mullins Family, LLP are willing to lease the use of the sign to Metro Transit on a month-to-month basis for no rental cost; and
WHEREAS, Metro Transit agrees to maintain the sign;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to enter into a Monumental Signage (Lease) Agreement with Washington Gilman, LP and Mullins Family, LLP beginning in November 2019 and continuing month-to-month unless either party cancels the agreement with at least 30 days notice.
