Title
Approving an amended schedule of 2019 Common Council meeting dates and times.
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council Executive Committee (CCEC) originally reviewed and approved the proposed Common Council meeting dates and times at their meeting on July 10, 2018 and the Common Council adopted on July 24, 2018 , and;
WHEREAS, the the Dane County Clerk has declared a special primary election to be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 and a special general election on Tuesday, June 4, 2019; and,
WHEREAS, MGO 2.01(4) precludes the Common Council from meeting on " any general or primary election day for local, state or national offices, or referenda.";
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following is an amended schedule of Common Council meeting dates for 2019:
Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 6:30 pm (replaces previously scheduled meeting of May 7, 2019)
Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 6:30 pm (replaces previously scheduled meeting on June 4, 2019)
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Common Council approves the above amended schedule of Common Council meeting dates in 2019.
