Title: Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract amendment with Trapeze Software Group, Inc. to the System Supply & Maintenance Agreement entered into on February 10, 2016 to extend coverage for software going out of warranty in 2020 through 2021, extend coverage for Transit Master and Trapeze back-office software through 2021. This amendment will also add coverage for Trapeze OPS and associated modules. The cost of this contract amendment will not exceed $506,000 in the Transit Utility 2020 operating budget and $515,500 in the Transit Utility 2021 operating budget.

The proposed resolution amends the current System Supply & Maintenance Agreement between Metro Transit and Trapeze Software Group, Inc. to extend coverage for software warranty ending at the end of 2020, extend coverage for Transit Master and Trapeze back-office software through 2021, and add coverage for Trapeze OPS and associated modules. The cost of this agreement amendment results in annual cost of $506,000 in 2020 and $515,000 in 2021. The 2019 adopted operating budget for Metro Transit includes $430,000 for the current annual cost of the existing agreement terms. The proposed agreement amendment will result in an incremental increase to Metro's annual software maintenance budget of $76,000 in 2020, which will be included in the 2020 Transit Utility Operating Budget request.

The modules provided by Trapeze Software Group support several of Metro's operational activities including route development, schedule development, electronic data communication tools, vehicle parking assignments, real-time schedule information, etc.
