Correcting the 2018 SEED Grant awarded to Elver Park Farmer’s Market, Inc. and Allied-Dunn’s Marsh Neighborhood Association, Inc.

Body

WHEREAS, the Common Council adopted Resolution RES-18-00302 (ID #50662) on 4/18/2018, authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute agreements with the 2018 SEED grant recipients as described in that resolution; and

 

WHEREAS, the resolution awarded $4,500 to the Elver Park Farmers Market, Inc. for a project entitled “Elver Park Farmers/Artisan/Community Market” and

 

WHEREAS, Elver Park Farmer’s Market will be working through a fiscal agent and wishes to receive this funding through the Madison Parks Foundation, Inc. and the Madison Parks Foundation, Inc. has agreed to serve as fiscal agent for these purposes; and

 

WHEREAS, the resolution awarded $2,500 to the Allied Dunn’s Marsh Neighborhood Association, Inc. for a project entitled “Volunteer with Food (“Allied Come ‘n’ Get It”)”; and

 

WHEREAS, Allied Dunn’s Marsh Neighborhood Association, Inc. will be working through a fiscal agent and wishes to receive this funding through the Madison-Area Urban Ministries, Inc. and Madison-Area Urban Ministries, Inc. has agreed to serve as fiscal agent for these purposes; and

 

WHEREAS, the amount of funding and the work to be done has not changed from the original approved proposal.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an agreement with Madison Parks Foundation, Inc. as fiscal agent for the Elver Park Farmer’s Market, Inc., for the project entitled “Elver Park Farmers/Artisan/Community Market” as described in RES-18-00302; and

 

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an agreement with Madison-Area Urban Ministry, Inc. as fiscal agent for the Allied-Dunn’s Marsh Neighborhood Association, Inc. for the project entitled “Volunteer with Food (“Allied come ‘n’ Get it”)” as described in RES-18-00302.
