Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes the execution of an underground electric easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company (MG&E). No City appropriation is required. An administrative fee of $500 will be collected by the Economic Development Division and deposited into the agency’s general revenue account.

Authorizing the execution of an Underground Electric and Gas Main Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across the City of Madison Stormwater Utility parcel located at 1916 Tennyson Lane.

WHEREAS, Madison Gas and Electric Company (“MG&E”) has requested an easement for existing underground gas and electric facilities located within the City’s Stormwater Utility parcel located at 1916 Tennyson Lane; and
WHEREAS, City of Madison Engineering Division and Office of Real Estate Services staff have reviewed and approve of the granting of said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Underground Electric and Gas Main Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a portion of Outlot 1 of the plat of Tennyson Ridge, located at 1916 Tennyson Lane, legally described on attached Exhibit A and depicted on attached Exhibit B.
