Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget, Engineering Major Streets has budgeted $3.77 million for the Royster Clark Development Phase 2 project (MUNIS 10250).  Funding comes from a combination of TID 44 proceeds and State sources. There is sufficient budget authority for the cost of the proposed contract for all agencies involved.  The proposed resolution approves the contract at an amount of $4,400,780, which is split amongst agencies as follows:

 

Engineering - $2,319,060

Stormwater - $501,950

Sewer - $846,910

Water - $732,860

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
