Fiscal Note
MillerCoors, LLC will make a financial donation of $10,000 to the City for the August 30, 2014 October 25, 2014 free ride event.  The funding will be used to cover missing farebox revenue, additional staffing to help with capacity on existing route and additional calls to the Customer Service Center.  Although this funding was not included in Metro's 2014 budget, the cost is not anticipated to exceed $10,000 and will merely replace lost revenue.  The indemnification language has been reviewed by the City's Risk Manager.  The City's risk exposure is increased by this clause, but the exposure is covered by insurance, subject to its terms and conditions.
