DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This proposal extends the sunset date of the Downtown License Density Plan until April 1, 2014.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

      Paragraph 12. entitled "Sunset" of Subdivision (o) entitled "Alcohol Beverage License Density Plan" of Subsection (9) entitled "Limitation Upon Issuance of Licenses" of Section 38.05 entitled "General Licensing Requirements" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:

"12.      Sunset.  This subsection shall expire on January 1, 2014April 1, 2014, unless extended by the Common Council prior to the expiration date."
