Title
Authorizing the execution of an Underground Electric Line Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a portion of a Water Utility Booster Station parcel, located at 2497 Greenway View.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Water Utility has constructed a new booster station facility for Booster Station No. 118 at 2497 Greenway View; and
 
WHEREAS, MG&E has been asked to install underground electric line facilities to serve the new booster station facility and therefore have requested a new underground electric line easement, across a portion of the Water Utility parcel, for their electric line facilities; and
 
WHEREAS, City of Madison Water Utility and Office of Real Estate Services staff has reviewed and approve of the granting of such easement.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Underground Electric Line Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a portion of the Water Utility parcel located at 2497 Greenway View, legally described as follows:
 
A strip of land, ten (10) feet in width, located in part of Outlot 1, Certified Survey Map No. 13160, as recorded in Document No. 4790133, Volume 84, Pages 257-258 of Certified Survey Maps in the Dane County Register of Deeds Office, lying in part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Town 6 North, Range 9 East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, the centerline of said strip being more particularly described as follows:
 
The easement area shall be located 5 feet on the right side and 5 feet on the left side of the centerline of the Grantee's facilities as constructed.  The facilities will be located approximately as set forth in the drawing attached hereto as Exhibit A and dated October 14, 2011.
