Fiscal Note

The employment agreement provides for a salary based on an annualized rate of $111,962, with annual salary adjustments during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion with Council approval.  The 2011 Library adopted operating budget includes $107,844 for this position.  The increase for the remainder of 2011 will be accommodated through management of salary savings.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has re-appointed Barbara Dimick to the position of Library Director; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Dimick.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Barbara Dimick 's reappointment to the position of Library Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Dimick.
