Items of general interest and update on any rate case in progress.
Body
The General Manager will provide an update on any rate case in progress as required by the Financial Condition and Activities Policy (EL-2d) and provide any notices and information required by the Communication and Support to the Board Policy (EL-2h). This includes:
- information as may be required periodically for fully informed board deliberations and choices, including internal and external data as well as staff and external opinions and points of view, and
- any significant incidental information it requires, including
o relevant trends
o anticipated adverse media coverage
o significant public reaction
o anticipated or pending lawsuits
o unusual or exceptional purchases
o directives or instructions from the Common Council or Mayor
o material internal and external changes, particularly those that affect the assumptions on which previous board policies have been established.
