Fiscal Note
This resolution would add a net of three permanent positions to the Facilities Management Service of the Engineering Division, with an effective date of approximately April 1, 2010. Funding for the 2010 permanent salaries of $92,887 and benefits of $37,991 would be obtained by the reallocation of $86,052 of hourly wages and $9,724 of related benefits, as well as the transfer of $29,598 of overtime wages and $5,504 of related benefits. No appropriation is therefore required in 2010.
For the year 2011, annualization of the conversion can be expected to cost an additional $32,719 for salaries and benefits, plus funding for any step increases. These requirements would have to be met either by additional reallocations within the Engineering Division Budget or by the addition of new funding.
