DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance, which was approved by the Board of Park Commissioners on July 9^th, bans the use of alcohol beverages in Eastmorland Park.  A subcommittee of the Board of Park Commissioners is reviewing alcohol policies in parks and this ordinance may be reviewed and revised at the time the committee's recommendations are adopted.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

      Subdivision (y) of Subsection (1) entitled "Prohibition" of Section 8.24 entitled "Alcohol Beverage Control and Container Control on Certain Public Property" of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:

"(y)      In any part of Eastmorland Park."
