Fiscal Note
This resolution would provide budgetary authority and funding of $62,000 from the dog park fund for work related to the creation of two new off leash dog parks. The dog park fund (SP02) currently has a cash balance of approximately $265,000. There is no impact on the tax levy.

Amending the 2010 Operating Budget of the Parks Division by transferring $62,000 from the dog park fund for the creation of two new off leash dog parks.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parks Division has worked to establish new off leash dog parks for the Parks system, and;
WHEREAS, in 2010 the Parks Division made the determination to move forward with two new off leash dog parks, one at Demetral Park and one at McCormick Greenspace, and;
WHEREAS, there are available resources in the Dog Park fund to support the additional expenses above and beyond the dog park fee revenues collected in 2010;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 2010 Parks Division Operating Budget is amended by the following amounts:
