WHEREAS, the City of Madison on June 12, 1973 adopted Resolution No. 24,966, File Number 5035-6, adding Official Map Sections 22, 27 and 34, Town 7 North, Range 8 East; and

WHEREAS, the City of Madison Official Maps, added by said resolution, contained various proposed streets and parkways, including proposed Pleasant View Road from existing Valley View Road north to Mineral Point Road; and

WHEREAS, the current adopted City of Madison Pioneer Neighborhood Development Plan includes relocated Pleasant View Road; and

WHEREAS, the City of Madison has reviewed and conditionally approved the preliminary plat of “University Research Park-Pioneer” submitted by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents for lands included in said Pioneer Neighborhood Development Plan; and

WHEREAS, the proposed “University Research Park-Pioneer” development will dedicate portions of the public right-of-way to facilitate planned relocated Pleasant View Road from Valley View Road northerly to the limits of University of Wisconsin Board of Regents ownership; and

WHEREAS, the City of Madison Engineering Division has created City Project No. 53W0143 - Pleasant View Road - UW Research Park West; and

WHEREAS, the City of Madison will administer the acquisition or required land interests as identified on the attached Relocation Order and plat of right of way and all associated costs to the City of Madison will be available in the City of Madison Engineering Division City Project N...
