Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes an agreement with the City of Fitchburg and Dane county for a watershed study for a total estimated cost of $60,000. The cost of the study will split evenly to each municipal entity. The estimated $20,000 attributable to the City of Madison for this agreement is budgeted within the adopted 2019 capital budget via the Stormwater Utility's Flood Mitigation program funded by Stormwater Utility supported GO Borrowing. Dane County shall act as the administrator for this project and will be invoiced for all bills directly by the selected consultant; Dane County will then invoice the Cities of Madison and Fitchburg for their proportionate share of the costs.
