Authorizing the Execution of an Agreement with Madison Gas & Electric Company to place Utility-Owned Equipment at the City’s Facility at 3945 Lien Road. (17th AD)

Body

WHEREAS, Madison Gas and Electric Company desires to install, and after such installation own, operate, maintain, repair, remove, upgrade and reinstall certain Utility-owned equipment on the City-owned property located at 3945 Lien Road; and,

 

WHEREAS, the City is agreeable to MGE’s placement of its equipment at this location.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an agreement with Madison Gas and Electric Company relating to the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of certain Utility-owned equipment at the City’s facility located at 3945 Lien Road; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the agreement shall be for an initial period of one (1) year, with one (1) year renewals, and the terms and conditions thereof shall be consistent with other agreements entered into by the City with Madison Gas & Electric, and shall be in a format approved by the City Attorney and Risk Manager.
