Commending Dan Bohrod, City Budget Analyst, on his retirement after nearly 18 years of passionate public service with the City of Madison.
Body
WHEREAS, Dan Bohrod, after working in budget, policy and analysis roles at various state agencies and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, began employment with the City of Madison on May 12, 1997, as an Administrative Analyst 1 in the City Comptroller's Office;
WHEREAS, Dan worked on numerous projects and budgets and was ultimately promoted to an Administrative Analyst 4; and
WHEREAS, Dan worked hard to serve as a voice for City agencies and their budget and policy issues to Mayors, Council members, Comptrollers/Finance Directors and Budget Managers; and
WHEREAS, Dan made sure to have an appropriate necktie ready for any City budget meeting; and
WHEREAS, Dan created an unparalleled work space that reflects his numerous interests and a sincere wish that all visitors feel at home; and
WHEREAS, Dan is a committed and caring public servant who has sought elected office; and
WHEREAS, Dan is a joyous presence throughout City offices, always ready with a smile, a large laugh, and a hearty "howya doin?!'"; and
WHEREAS, during Dan's tenure, he worked successfully with three different Comptroller/Finance Directors, many City Managers, and Mayors Bauman, Cieslewicz, and Soglin; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Madison commend Dan Bohrod, Administrative Analyst 4, on his retirement from the City of Madison after nearly 18 years of exemplary City service; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council thank Dan Bohrod for his dedicated service to the City of Madison, its citizens and partners, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
