Fiscal Note
This Employment Agreement establishes an annual initial year's salary of $115,000 beginning September 2, 2012. The Library's 2012 Operating Budget includes $119,384 for the Library Director position. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body
WHEREAS, the Library Board has appointed Gregory P. Mickells to the position of Library Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Mickells,
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Mickells appointment to the position of Library Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Mickells
