Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for the Olbrich Park Maintenance Shed. The total estimated cost of the project is $270,000. Funding is to be derived from insurance proceeds (the shed was destroyed by fire in 2016). The Parks Division will be submitting a separate resolution to amend the 2018 Parks Capital Budget for the insurance proceeds. If the insurance proceeds prove insufficient to cover the full cost of the project, the Parks Division Capital Budget includes $1,275,000 of available budget authority for improvements related to the Garver at Olbrich Botanical Complex project (Munis project 17168).

BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Olbrich Park Maintenance Shed, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
