Title
Commending and thanking Alderperson John Robert Strasser for his dedicated service to the constituents in District 14 and to the City of Madison.
Body
WHEREAS, Alderperson John Robert Strasser was elected to the Madison Common Council on April 2, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, during his tenure Alderperson Strasser served on the City-County Liaison Committee, Economic Development Committee, Madison Local Food Committee, Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Committee and the Sustainable Madison Transportation Master Plan Oversight Committee (Madison in Motion); and,
WHEREAS, Alderperson John Strasser worked diligently on issues effecting District 14 residents to create opportunities that revolved around food scarcity issues, job creation and employment and successfully worked with animal advocates and city staff to pass ordinances that dealt with puppies and dogs being neglected, running at large and licensing; and,
WHEREAS, Alderperson John Strasser through his hard work and dedication to his aldermanic duties has faithfully and with honor served his constituents and the City of Madison,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council commend and thank Alderperson John Robert Strasser for his dedicated service to his constituents in District 14 and the City of Madison.
