Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution increases the amount for a Public Health contract with the Nurse-Family Partnership. The existing contract amount of $175,000 is increased by an additional $250,000 through April 2029 due to expanded service. The City and County will jointly support $215,000 of the additional cost based on equalized value and the remaining amount will be covered by grants. The City’s share of the additional cost based on the 2026 final equalized value is $92,000. The agency expects to accommodate the increased contract costs within its existing 2026 budget authorization and planned amounts in the 2027 executive budget.
