Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Yang Tao, the Director of Traffic Engineering salary will be based on an annualized rate of $170,000. Funding for this position is available within Traffic Engineering's 2023 adopted operating budget.

Body

 WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Yang Tao to the position of Director of Traffic Engineering and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Tao

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Tao’s appointment to the position of Director of Traffic Engineering is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Tao.
