The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for the State Street Campus Garage Mixed-Use Project. The total estimated cost of construction is $52,000,000 (includes 8% Construction contingency). The Parking Division's 2023 Adopted Capital Budget and 2024 Executive Capital Budget include funding through MUNIS: 14145.

The proposed 2024 Capital Budget includes funding for the State Street Campus Garage Mixed-Use Project. The Project funds Demolition, Facility Construction, and Exterior Improvements required for the future City Parking Garage & Bus Terminal facility located at 415 N. Lake Street

This resolution approves the plans and specifications for the project, authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise for and receive bids for the project, authorizes execution of any lease or easement documents necessary to accomplish the project and authorizes the acquisition of materials and services required to successfully complete the project.

BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the plans and specifications for the State Street Campus Garage Mixed-Use Project are hereby approved.
2. That the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized to advertise for and receive bids for the Project contingent upon the closing of the real estate sale, tentatively scheduled for December of 2023
3. That the City Engineer and Finance Director are hereby authorized to obtain all Furnishings, Fixtures, Equipment and Materials necessary for the Project in accordance with City Purchasing Policy.
