Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution recreates a Library Computer Technician position as a Library IT Specialist 2 position in the Library’s operating budget. (Legistar file #77779 creates the new classification of Library IT Specialist.) The new position will be filled through an internal competitive process. The current incumbent will under-fill the position until the conclusion of the hiring process. The estimated cost in 2023, including back pay to October 30, 2022, is $18,500 and will be funded through the management of salary savings. No appropriation is required.
