Fiscal Note

The proposed ordinance amendment updates the fee for a first Certificate of Occupancy from $10 to $25. The 2025 Adopted Operating Budget included the increased fee revenues in General Fund Revenues. No additional City appropriation required.

DRAFTER’S ANALYSIS:    This amendment increases the fee for a first Certificate of Occupancy from $10.00 to $50.00. This increase is intended to cover the cost of service related to the Certificate.
