DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance amendment rezones property located at 515 North Whitney Way from NMX (Neighborhood Mixed Use) District to TSS (Traditional Shopping Street) District to allow redevelopment of site with a five-story, 40-unit apartment building.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

 

                     1.                     Map Amendment 00673 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:

 

“28.022-00673. The following described property is hereby rezoned to TSS (Traditional Shopping Street) District.

 

All of Lot 11, Block 44, University Hill Farms North Hill Addition, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin and all of Lot 10, Block 44, said University Hill Farms North Hill Addition except the following described area: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 10; thence N82°15'00"W, 43.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N82°15'00"W, 136.30 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 10 and a point on a curve; thence northeasterly on a curve to the right which has a radius of 514.89 feet and a chord which bears N05°08'10"E, 34.00 feet; thence S68°24'42"E, 142.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said described parcel lest exception contains 23,097 square feet (0.53 acres).”
