Board of Health for Madison and Dane County Resolution #2024-09 Authorization to Accept Funds from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for HIV Tests

Public Health Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes the acceptance of $25,000 from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS). These funds are a pay for service fee of $15/HIV test conducted by PHMDC staff. This funding allows PHMDC staff to reach populations with the highest risk for HIV, to educate on prevention, risk and testing as well as provide rapid and confirmatory HIV testing free of charge.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County on behalf of Public Health Madison and Dane County authorizes the Director of Public Health, or their designee, to sign the agreement, accept and expend the funding, and amend the 2024 Public Health Budget by $25,000.
