Full funding for the Golf Clubhouse Supervisor is included in the 2023 Adopted Golf Enterprise Operating Budget.
Title
Approving an extension of a provisional appointment for Daniel Breunig from October 30, 2023 until such time as the position of Golf Program Director is filled on a permanent basis or until April 30, 2024, whichever is earlier.
Body
WHEREAS, Daniel Breunig has been filling the position of Golf Clubhouse Supervisor, on a provisional basis, assuming supervisory responsibilities of the Golf Clubhouse Operations since April 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, position reclassification of the vacant Golf Program Supervisor to Golf Program Director is underway, and once approved, recruitment to fill the position permanently will commence in early October 2023; and,
WHEREAS, it is expected that Daniel Breunig will continue to perform the Golf Clubhouse Supervisor duties until the Golf Program Director position is filled on a permanent basis; and
WHEREAS, City Personnel Rules allow for provisional appointments for six (6) months unless further approval is granted by the Madison Common Council;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Daniel Breunig’s provisional appointment be extended from October 30, 2023, with no change to the terms of the current provisional appointment, until the Golf Program Director position is filled on a permanent basis or until April 30, 2024, whichever is earlier.
