Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution extends the deadline for the filing of a report by the Disability Rights Commission Home Healthcare Workgroup. No City appropriation required.

Title

Extending the deadline for a final report and recommendations from the Disability Rights Commission to December 1, 2023.

Body

WHEREAS, Resolution RES-23-00218, Legistar File 76649, created the Disability Rights Commission Home Healthcare Workgroup; and,

WHEREAS, the Workgroup was given a deadline of October 1, 2023 to complete its work and issue its final report and recommendations to the Common Council; and,

WHEREAS, the Workgroup has been working diligently but will be unable to make the October 1, 2023 deadline and requests an extension in order to submit the final report and recommendations to the Common Council for review,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Common Council extends the deadline for finishing the work of the Disability Rights Commission Home Healthcare Workgroup to be no later than December 1, 2023.
