Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes awarding the contract for the Door Creek Park Shelter at a total estimated cost of $3,780,500 including contingency. Funding for the project is available in Munis 14334 and contingent upon the passage of Legistar #78676 on the Common Council agenda for the July 25, 2023 meeting. If the Common Council does not approve Legistar #78676 this contract will not be awarded. No additional appropriation is required.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the awarding of Contract No. 9326, Door Creek Park Shelter, will be contingent on the approval of a separate resolution by the Common Council to amend the 2023 Parks Division Capital Budget in order to provide the necessary funding. In the event that the Common Council does not approve the budget amendment, the contract will not be awarded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
