Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution deletes the CCTV Inspection Technician in compensation group 15, range 8; recreates positions #4538, #4539, and #4540 as CCTV Inspection Technician in compensation group 15, range 9; and reallocates the incumbent in position #4538 to the new position in the Engineering operating budget.
The annualized cost increase for this change is between $2,078 and $3661 per position, including benefits. Engineering may be able to accommodate this increase within their existing personnel budget if there is sufficient salary savings from turnover and vacancies in other positions. Positions #4539 and #4540 are currently vacant. The agency's budget will be monitored throughout the year and if necessary, a budget amendment may be offered through the year-end appropriation. No additional appropriation is needed at this time to fund the proposed changes.
