Jessi Kendall is a registered nurse clinician at UW Health - University Hospital and an outreach & engagement liaison with UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health Brain Health Equity Initiative. She serves as a health ambassador for the Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness.

PHILLIP A. MORGAN (4th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident succeeding Mikael Snitker. Phillip Morgan is retired and previously worked for the City of Madison Streets Division. As a person with disabilities, he is familiar with many programs available for people with disabilities and has successfully advocated for accommodations in public places.

JEFFREY J. LIGGON (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Donna Moreland. Jeffrey Liggon is the owner/operator of Fitness Center (DBA The Fit). He has participated in the Associates of Commercial Real Estate (A.C.R.E) program. He has also served on the United Way Health Community Solutions Team and the Monroe Street Arts Board.

NICHOLAS J.C. PARIS (19th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Karina Mendoza. Nicholas Paris is the CEO of Gilson, Inc. He serves as the chair of BioForward Wisconsin, a biohealth trade association.

JUSTICE CASTAÑEDA (15th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident succeeding David Porterfield. Justice Castañeda is the executive director of Common Wealth Development. In addition, he is completing his dissertation work in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has served on numerous boards and committees, including Own It! Building Black Wealth and the Task Force on Structure of City Government.

JILLIAN B. HAYES (6th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Anne L.N. Morrison. Jillian Hayes is a real estate development professional working for Stone House Development. She has a juris doctor degree with a concentration in real estate. She previously interned in the City’s Office of Real Estate. In addition, she has volunteered with the Tenant Resource Center and Porchlight Products.

TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
Appointments to the newly comprised Transportation Commission. Appointees are primarily former members of the Transportation Commission or Transportation Policy & Planning Board.
ANN E. KOVICH (14th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Resident Member. Ann Kovich was a member of the former Transportation Commission and served as its chair.

ROBBIE WEBBER (5th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Resident Member. Robbie Webber was a member of the former Transportation Commission. She is a former transportation policy analyst with State Smart Transportation Initiative (SSTI) and a former alder, having served district five from 2003-2009.

DENISE N. JESS (6th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Resident Member. Denise Jess was a member of the former Transportation Commission. She is the CEO/Executive Director of the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired. She has experience advocating on transportation-related issues at the state and local levels.

PEPE BARROS (14th A.D.) - appoint to a two-year term to the position of Resident Member. Pepe Barros is an industrial engineer and the former pedestrian and bicycle outreach coordinator for the City of Madison. He currently serves as a meaningful context designer at Trusten LLC.

DARRIN S. WASNIEWSKI (10th A.D.) - appoint to a two-year term to the position of Resident Member. Darrin Wasniewski is the associate state director - community outreach for the AARP-Wisconsin. He was a member of the former Transportation Commission.

CHRISTOPHER T. MCCAHILL (15th A.D.) - appoint to a one-year term to the position of Resident Member. Chris McCahill is the managing director of the State Smart Transportation Initiative (SSTI) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He served on both the Transportation Commission and Transportation Policy & Planning Board and will serve as the cross-over appointment between the Plan Commission and the Transportation Commission.

NICKI K. VANDER MEULEN (4th A.D.) - appoint to a one-year term to the position of First Alternate. Nicki Vander Meulen is a practicing attorney and currently serves on the Madison Metropolitan School District Board of Education. She is also a member of the City’s Disability Rights Commission. She was a member of the City’s Transportation Policy & Planning Board.

WILLIAM F. BREMER (10th A.D.) - appoint to a one-year term to the position of Second Alternate. Mr. Bremer is a part-time transportation civil engineer in the Traffic Operations and Safety Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a retired safety and traffic operations engineer with the Federal Highway Administration. He has previously served on numerous City committees and was a member of the former Transportation Commission.
