Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Thomas W. Lynch, the Director of Transportation salary will be based on an annualized rate of $178,000. Funding for this position is available in the Transportation Department's 2023 operating budget.

Body

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Thomas W. Lynch to the position of Director of Transportation and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Lynch,

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Lynch’s appointment to the position of Director of Transportation is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Lynch.
