Title

Authorizing the City’s execution of a First Amendment to Lease with Tiger Lily Seeds, pertaining to City-owned land located at 801 Royster Oaks Drive. (15th AD)

Body

WHEREAS, as authorized by File ID #41614, the City of Madison (“City”) entered into a Lease with Tiger Lily Seeds (“Lessee”) for the Lessee’s use of a parcel of City-owned property for prairie maintenance purposes; and

 

WHEREAS, the Lessee has started to use metered water service at the Leased Premises, and City Engineering is requiring the Lessee to be responsible for all costs related to said water usage; and

 

WHEREAS, the Lessee and City wish to further amend the Lease to update the map of the Leased Premises and notices section of the Lease, all as detailed in attached Exhibit - First Amendment to Lease (“First Amendment”); and,

 

WHEREAS, the City and Lessee desire to amend the Lease as detailed in the First Amendment. 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City’s Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to execute and record the First Amendment, and take any further action required to accomplish the purpose of this resolution in a form approved by the City Attorney.
