Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract In Northeast Addition to Grandview Commons Phase 4, Private Contract No. 8974 (3rd AD).

Body

WHEREAS, VH GVC NE, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in:  Northeast Addition to Grandview Commons Phase 4.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

 

1.  That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted. 

 

2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".

3. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

 

Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A”                     $47,123.65.

 

 

 

4. That the street improvements, excluding the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:

 

 

                     North Star Drive from the North line of Lot 1073 to Misty Bridge Road

                     North Star Drive from Misty Bridge Road to Stoney Oak Lane

                     North Star Drive from Stoney Oak Lane to the South line of Lot 1128

                     Stoney Oak Lane from 205’ West of North Star Drive to North Star Drive

                     Stoney Oak Lane from North Star Drive to the East line of Lot 1104

                     Misty Bridge Road from North Star Drive to the East line of Lot 1075

                     Outlot 51 alley from North Star Drive to the East line of Lot 1097

 

 

The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 13301 by $ 258,815.13 for a useful life of 40 years.
