Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract In Birchwood Point - Phase 10, Private Contract No. 7953 (1st AD).

Body

WHEREAS, MREC VH Birchwood Point, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in:  Birchwood Point - Phase 10.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

 

1.  That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted. 

 

2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".

That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

 

Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A”                     $84,708.23.

 

 

 

4. That the street improvements, including the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:

 

 

                     Shady Birch Trail from 125’ West of Sunshine Lane to Sunshine Lane

                     Shady Birch Trail from Sunshine Lane to Windy Peak Road

                     Shady Birch Trail from Windy Peak Road to the East line of Lot 162

                     Sunshine Lane form Shady Birch Trail to the North line of Lot 110

                      Windy Peak Road from Shady Birch Trail to the North line of Lot 166

 

 

The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 11656 by $ 271,459.69 for a useful life of 40 years.
