Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contracts In Chapel View - Surface Paving and Chapel View - Phase 2, Private Contract Nos. 8262 and 8263 (9th  AD).

Body

WHEREAS, Chapel View Development Company, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in:  Chapel View - Surface Paving and Chapel View - Phase 2.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

 

1.  That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted. 

 

2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".

That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

 

Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A”                     $282,732.02.

 

 

4. That the street improvements, including the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:

 

 

                     Burnt Sienna Drive from 35’ North of White Fox Lane to Cape Silver Way

                     Burnt Sienna Drive from Cape Silver Way to 494’ North of Cape Silver Way

                     Burnt Sienna Drive from 494’ North of Cape Silver Way to Peach Leaf Lane

                     Burnt Sienna Drive from Peach Leaf Lane to Old Sauk Road

                     Cape Silver Way from Burnt Sienna Drive to 420’ East of Burnt Sienna Drive

                     Peach Leaf Lane from Burnt Sienna Drive to 404’ East of Burnt Sienna Drive

                     Lot 17/18 sidewalk from Cape Silver Way to Outlot 1

                     Outlot 3 bike path from White Fox Lane to Schewe Road

                     Old Sauk Road sidewalk from Schewe Road to the East line of Lot 1

                     Schewe Road path from the Outlot 3 bike path to the Old Sauk Road sidewalk

 

 

The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project Nos. 11965 and 11966 

$ 4 9 0 , 3 4 3 . 3 7 for a useful life of 40 years.
