Body

WHEREAS, the VH 1000 Oaks, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in:  First Addition to 1000 Oaks - Phase 8.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

 

1.  That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted. 

 

2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

SANITARY SEWER ACCOUNTING DATA

3. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

 

Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A”                     $169,627.08.

 

 

4. That the street improvements, excluding the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:

 

 

                     Tawny Acorn Drive from the West line, Lot 167 to Cherry Bark Road

                     Tawny Acorn Drive from Cherry Bark Road to the West line, Lot 341

                     Winter Basil Drive from the Northwest line, Lot 370 to Cherry Bark Road

                     Cherry Bark Road from Winter Basil Drive to Summer Willow Lane

                     Cherry Bark Road from Summer Willow Lane to Tawny Acorn Drive

                     Summer Willow Lane from Cherry Bark Road to the East line, Lot 187

                     Valley View Road from the East line, Lot 291 to the West line, Lot 236

 

 

The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 12711 $ 282,569.06 for a useful life of 40 years.
