Fiscal Note
As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Charles J. Romines, the Streets Superintendent and Public Works Team Leader salary will be based on an annualized rate of $155,000, effective February 28, 2023. The Streets Superintendent and Public Works Team Leader position is approved and funded in the 2023 adopted operating budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Charles J. Romines to the position of Streets Superintendent and Public Works Team Leader and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Romines
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Romines’s appointment to the position of Streets Superintendent and Public Works Team Leader is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Romines.
