In September 22, 2021, Board of Park Commissioners, through Legislative File #67488, authorized the Park Superintendent or designee to approve certain Park Event permits temporarily due to COVID restrictions that will allow events and encourage use of park spaces for economic recovery.  The process provided efficient and effective approval of events without incident.  On March 9, 2022, the Board of Park Commissioners authorized permanently amending the authority of the Park Superintendent and the Facilities, Programs and Fees Subcommittee to approve certain Park Event Permits (Legislative File #69974).  The 2022 Report summarizes all events administratively approved by staff, and staff will continue to provide a summary of events that have been approved on a quarterly basis under this Board of Park Commissioners Resolution.
