THE APPLICANT FOR A PARK EVENT PERMIT SHALL AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD THE CITY AND ITS EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS HARMLESS AGAINST ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITY, LOSS, DAMAGE, OR EXPENSE INCURRED BY THE CITY ON ACCOUNT OF ANY INJURY TO OR DEATH OF ANY PERSON OR ANY DAMAGE TO PROPERTY CAUSED BY OR RESULTING FROM THE ACTIVITIES FOR WHICH THE PERMIT IS GRANTED.

Notification: Organizer must notify area alder(s) at least one week prior to each training date. Provide the alder with training information, including; location, date, schedule, activities, etc. The alder(s) to notify for this event are Sheri Carter - district14@cityofmadison.com

Air Rifle Use: Reservation are contingent upon approval of the use of air rifles from Madison Police. Per MGO 25.06 (1) DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS: No person shall fire or discharge a firearm of any description, or any pneumatic or spring-loaded pellet gun, without written permission of the Mayor or Chief of Police, such permission shall limit the time of such firing and shall be subject to revocation by the Mayor, the Chief of Police or Common Council. Organizer will send written approval to Kelly Post, kpost@cityofmadison.com prior to January 11, 2023.

Number of Participants: The number of participants in the program is limited to 16; increasing the number of participants will require Park Superintendent approval

Park Use: Organizer will pick up keys for shelters and/or bathrooms in the Parks’ office a few days before 1/11/23 in exchange for a refundable $50.00/key deposit.
